March 1, 1781 Act, Virginia Colonial Currency, Fifty Spanish Milled Dollars or Fifteen Pounds, No negative comments, PCGS (under)graded Choice Very Fine-35.
Fr. VA-204a. An excellent Revolutionary War thin laid paper note that is boldly printed and well centered with a perfectly clean paper reverse. Signed by J. Simmons, J. Hopkins, and B. Webb, Uniface, measuring 100mm x 80mm. An exceptional clean completely solid note that is premium quality appearing Extremely Fine for grade, being listed in Friedberg as Rare in that quality. The serial number and signatures are complete and likewise bold. A lovely note with choice eye appeal that would easily be a centerpiece representative for this rare type in this quality.
