Collection of 30 Revolutionary War Era Buttons belonging to members of the British Armed Forces spanning the entire conflict. Notable example(s) from this collection are two buttons belonging to the King’s American Regiment (4th American Regiment) a Loyalist Regiment, Troiani LKAR.a. Both of these buttons are the same design, being cast out of one-piece gilded copper with loop shanks present on both. The gilt on the inner ring is present on one of the buttons (17mm) and is worn off of the other (16mm). Another notable example from this collection is a very well preserved example of a 20th Light Dragoon Regiment Button measuring 25mm cast from pewter, it displays very little patina has no rust, just minor corrosion on the reverse with a fully intact shank. Also included are a notable set of (3) Royal Artillery buttons ranging in design and size. The largest measures in at about 25mm and is a well preserved example of the Troiani BRA.h design style. There is well defined detail on this button having a nice even patina throughout. The other (2) Royal Artillery Buttons are Troiani BRA.i designs styles. One has a deep greenish patina and measures about 13mm and the other has a nice even copper color. Both have their shanks intact.
