Rated as Rarity-7 (11 to 15 known) according to Fred Reed. This is a choice quality example of this highly popular and desirable rarity. It is considered to be only “collectable” due to rarity in this denomination, with only about a dozen specimens believed to exist. This example certainly ranks among the finest. The rich blue stamp is perfectly centered, clearly seen through the clear unbroken mica. The case has a medium-chestnut natural coloration, highlighting the sharply detailed reverse legends.
