A sharply struck example with clear unbroken mica and its 1861 Civil War US Postage issue red George Washington stamp is quite well centered fresh and bright with some light wrinkles as made. The case is defect free showing only the slightest of circulation with a lovely overall deep chestnut color somewhat highlighting the attractive sharp legends. A superior high quality example of this more common, yet popular Merchant type.
