“Andrew Jackson’s Farewell Address” Presidential Printed Silk Broadside Design is Not Listed in “Threads of History”

(March 4, 1837), Broadside on Silk, “Andrew Jackson’s Farewell Address.” as 7th United States President, Printed in Black on White Silk, design Not Listed in the Collins reference work, “Threads of History” by the Smithsonian, Framed, Choice Very Fine.
An impressive large Printed Broadside on Silk measuring about 18.5” x 29” (by sight), nicely framed fully to 24” x 32.75”. Signed in Typeset text at the conclusion by the president, “Andrew Jackson”. Some minor border edge irregularities top and bottom. Overall, vivid in eye appeal, displayed floating under glass in the display but whole and solid, will display straight. Its bold black text presents the printing of President Jackson's final speech given as the 7th United States president, in which he wrote: "I thank God that my life has been spent in a land of liberty and that He has given me a heart to love my country with the affection of a son."

This example design type is Extremely Rare as its design is Not Listed in the Collins reference, “Threads of History” by the Smithsonian. We have no record of another other copy of this design type located. This Silk Broadside is different in Design than the example listed in “Threads of History” by Collins shown as No. 89. No doubt a major type lacking in all Presidential, Andrew Jackson, and/or Historic and Political Textile collections.
