A mixed historical and popular material large lot of about 16 items, featuring newspapers spanning from 1790 through 1924 and group of early to mid 20th century popular music songsheets, overall Poor to Very Fine. This diverse historical mixed lot of 16 items consists primarily of not so valuable newspapers dating from 1790 throughout 1924, representing more than a century of printed news and public record. The newspapers offer a broad sampling of period journalism and reflect the evolving style, format, and concerns of American and international reporting across the late 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries some in very rough condition. Accompanying the newspapers is a selection of early to mid 20th century popular music songbooks, illustrating the musical tastes and popular entertainment of the period. Condition ranges from Poor to Very Fine, with typical folds and minor to significant wear consistent with age and handling. Lot sold “AS IS” no returns.
