Colony of New Hampshire. June 28, 1776. Fifteen Pence. January 26, 1787 Due date, PCGS graded Very Fine-25. Fr. NH-166. This small format 1776 Revolutionary War 15 pence note is lightly and evenly circulated with all of its design details printed dark and clear. It has its full outer margins is very well centered bearing a clearly legible brown ink signature of Noah Emery. The holder states edge and internal repairs for which you are welcome to enlarge the note and study carefully (but do not dismay if your see nothing they mention). One of only 6,000 notes issued, with only 3,000 having the January 1788 printed Due Date to be recalled and redeemed back into the New Hampshire Treasury. A pleasing “1776” dated note.
