Gem Uncirculated April 10, 1777 Pennsylvania Nine Pence Note in a PMG AU-55 holder Their Error, Your Opportunity

April 10, 1777, Pennsylvania Colonial Currency, Nine Pence, Plate A, (our grade Gem Crisp Uncirculated) housed in a comment-free PMG AU-55 holder.
Fr. PA-212. This boldly printed, bright and fresh Revolutionary War period Pennsylvania note is just about perfectly centered on both its face with full choice margins. The paper is clearly watermarked “PENSYL / VANIA” having a vivid red ink signature of William Evans. There are no folds and nothing about this note that is anything other than exactly “as made”. No doubt the graders were confused by the watermarks presence, and a faint nature paper fiber appearing as a wrinkle upwards from the bottom edge “as made”. Enlarge this note to enjoy its true excellent originality and buy it as it is undergraded.
