August 6, 1789, Pennsylvania, Bank of North America, One Ninetieth of a Dollar or One Penny, Plate K, with “Tench Francis, Cashier”, Crisp About Uncirculated. Fr. PA-273. Haxby 465-G8. This crisp looking “$1/90th or One Penny Specie” note has “dual” denominations. It has with sharp margin edges and corner tips and a well sealed internal split by “Company of” to the top edge, the face with a large left margin while tight at right. The reverse is perfectly centered, no doubt this note was cut from its sheet from the reverse. A scarce popular addition of this interesting One Ninetieth of a Dollar or One Penny design type.
