Rated as Rarity-1 (100+ Common) according to Fred Reed. The red George Washington 1861 Postage issue stamp has some light waviness as made, having near perfect centering. There is one faint tiny mica lamination at the bottom rim edge, the mica is clear and unbroken. The case is a defect-free pleasing golden-chestnut in color with about 50% of its original light Silvering still on the reverse within the legends. (VF Scott Cat. $475)
