Fr. NY-162. Low Serial No. 337. A scarce authentic low 10s denomination note with, ‘Tis Death To Counterfeit,” in a newly abbreviated style of the sentiment. Undeniably choice for the grade, a note with plenty of eye appeal and aesthetic charm. Signed by; S. Verplanck, T. Bache, and A. Lott. Uniface with a perfectly clean blank reverse. Printed by Hugh Gaine, from plates engraved by Elisha Gallaudet. The design is well centered with sharp typeset printing. The details holder comments repairs, (of which there are none, being mistaken for some tiny prior mounting traces on the black verso) with the appearance of a quality pleasing attractive worthwhile note as shown.
