Fr. Not Listed, Hoober 39-31. Low Serial No. 14. Signed by Large and Hartshorne. Printer unknown. Uniface. Measuring a small size 84mm x 46mm. This note and issuer was Unlisted in Newman at the time of the John Ford Jr. sale, where the writer Bruce Hagen noted: “the first we have seen in over 20 years of obsolete private scrip study,” and later noting “the condition is less than enormous, but if it is unique, does it matter?” Unpriced in the 5th Edition of Newman without a photo 2008. Deeply toned off-white paper and strong black typeset inking, with easily readable signatures of “Large” and “Hartshorne”. Its current PMG net holder comments; backed, repaired.
