4, Fr. VA-37. The currency young George Washington may have used. Friedberg states: “All Issues From VA-1 to VA-61 Are VERY RARE or EXTREMELY RARE.” Uniface, Serial No. 1413. Its holder comments details tape repairs, which are old, added as reinforcement on the blank reverse, covering some of the written period pen signatures and mathematical equations. Signed by Peyton Randolph and Ro(bert) C(arter) Nicholas. Printer uncertain, measuring 80mm x 66mm. Very Choice for the grade, the inking on the face compares closely to the 5th Edition Newman Plate note on page 440 only rougher about its left side margin edge. The signatures and serial number are strong. Only 1,800 notes issued reported in Newman to be redeemed to the Treasury by October 10, 1769. Provenance: Stack's sale of the John J.
