The currency George Washington may have used. The October 20, 1777 Act legal tender Treasury Bills were redeemable by December 1, 1784, so not many still exist. Printed on a heavy rag paper that containing blue fibers and mica flakes, featuring the Virginia Coat of Arms as on all denominations. This note is printed in black on clean crisp paper with its full border designs shown. The bank reverse is exceptionally clean and completely free of detractions. It’s face is well printed with choice eye appeal displaying a bold brown ink signature “L. Wood”.
